Getting poster data...
Neslisah Torosdagli, Sumanta Pattanaik, Curtis Lisle (Institute 1: Dept. of EECS (CS Division) University Of Central Florida,Orlando, FL, USA; Institute 2: KnowledgeVis LLC, Maitland, FL, USA.)As data capturing techniques advance, the need of high quality interactive visualization becomes more crucial. In this research, we present a platform independent HTML5 Volume Renderer that allows users to interactively customize 1D and 2D Transfer Functions from the volume data statistics, and render a wide range of volumes from medical MRI/CT scans to electron density data. The tool enables any volume data inputted as a stack of slices to be visualized in high quality to gain deeper insights into the data. The tool is easy to use, allows user to experiment with different transfer functions and save them for future use, and also allows using user-defined palette or preset palettes for rendering.
