Valerie Daggett: Visualizing Protein Folds & Folding

Valerie Daggett ( discusses the challenges of visualizing atom-resolution data on protein dynamics and folding. She highlights her Dynameomics project, which aims to calculate molecular motion for all proteins, and is one of the world's largest scientific computation tasks, currently logging over 10 million processor hours and 350 TB of data. This talk was presented at VIZBI 2012, an international conference series on visualizing biological data ( funded by EMBO & NIH.
