Lars Juhl Jensen: Visualizing Protein Networks

Lars Juhl Jensen (http://jensenlab.org) reviews methods for visualizing protein interaction data, particularly in cases where data are either dynamic or related to disease states. He also discusses the special case of cell cycle data - where circular layout fits naturally - and he highlights the STRING and STITCH resources he co-developed, which are widely used for visualizing networks showing protein and chemical interaction. This talk was presented at VIZBI 2012, an international conference series on visualizing biological data (http://vizbi.org) funded by EMBO & NIH. This video was filmed and distributed with permission under a creative common license.
